Livyatan launched as a suite of local-first, AI-built design and fabrication tools, free for individuals and small shops. Interest has been close to zero. There isn't an audience for an AI-generated design suite right now, and when anyone can build their own tools, giving away free software doesn't do much good.
So the project is being diverted. Development continues, but only as my own in-house workflow at the shop. There will be no more public releases, downloads, newsletters or roadmap.
Anything you already downloaded is yours to keep and use under its original license. It still runs on your own hardware with no account, and nothing in it phones home, so it won't stop working because of this.
