STILL IN THE DEEP — surfacing when it clears the benchJove — Jupiter, the sky father whose weapon is lightning. This module’s whole job is arranging a part so UV light can cure it, layer by layer. The god of the bolt, prepping for the light.
Resin print prep. Supports, drains, slice to the vat.
Jove is the resin lane. Bring in a mesh, set it on the plate at the angle you want, hollow it and place the drains, grow the supports, and slice it straight to a file the printer takes. The plate in the window is your printer’s plate, to the millimetre, so what you see is what stands in the vat.
Slicing streams layer by layer to disk rather than holding the whole stack in memory, so a tall print on a big plate does not need a big machine to prepare.
Held for more testing: it works on the bench; it has not yet proven itself on enough parts to leave it.
