Turn four dials — frequency, radius, how much of the sphere, timber size — and Ouranos gives you a buildable dome: a live 3D model with real mitred joints, a strut cut sheet, a hub schedule with the block-face angles, and a structural check that reruns on every change. Exports go to the bench as a printable traveler and per-strut files, and to CAD as solids.
Cut lengths account for the timber’s real cross-section. Cutting raw chord lengths on real lumber produces a dome that cannot close; Ouranos does that arithmetic so you do not find out on the ground.
